Leaf Magic Link is a shareable URL that Leaf customers can generate for their grower clients to either upload machine files or authenticate with a data provider such as John Deere, Case, Trimble or many others, with no front-end code required. Once you’re set up with Leaf Magic Link, you can create a URL for any of your clients that want to manually upload machine files or integrate data from their farm equipment into your app or platform via Leaf’s API.
Unlike Leaf Link which we launched earlier this year, Leaf Magic Link does not require a frontend or app to embed this code into and allows for a Magic Link URL to be shared with growers through email, text message, whatsapp or any other preferred way of communication.
You can select the equipment provider that your client wants to integrate with you, add your client’s email address, and a unique shareable URL gets created that you can send to your client via text or email for example. When your client clicks their link, Leaf Magic Link will open up in a browser and guide them through authorizing the integration process.
What’s next
Leaf Magic Link is now available to all Leaf clients, ready to help your users authenticate with data providers. You can find more information in the documentation here. If you have any questions on how to get started with the implementation, please don’t hesitate to contact me or anyone else on the Leaf team.
