We love making things easy for our customers and when it comes to ag data, we’ve already been doing this for years. What’s new for us is that we’ve now further simplified our purchasing process as well by working more closely with our partners at AWS. Our Unified Farm Data API is now available on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace, a curated digital catalog that AWS customers can use to find, buy, deploy, and manage third-party software, data, and services to build solutions and run their businesses. Leaf customers can now choose to use Leaf via the AWS Marketplace to streamline procurement, consolidate their cloud accounts, and take advantage of additional AWS resources.
AWS is already being used by the majority of companies that work with food and agriculture data, and having our services available in the AWS Marketplace makes the selection and procurement process significantly easier for these businesses to start building new value with farm data. In addition, it allows our customers to consolidate their cloud accounts, reduce their cloud spend, and count their Leaf spend towards their AWS Savings Plan usage. Now they can choose to monitor and manage their Leaf usage via their AWS dashboard and move Leaf onto their AWS bill.
We know how important it is to get top-tier support from service providers and, as AWS clients ourselves since the day we started, we can appreciate the expertise and resources the AWS have provided to us. Companies who utilize Leaf through the AWS marketplace will be able to leverage the expertise and resources of both the AWS and Leaf teams; we are confident that this will help our clients implement Leaf even quicker, allowing them to keep their technical team focused on their own product.
If you have any questions about this partnership and how it might be able to benefit your business, please feel free to reach out to me - I look forward to discussing the finer details with you in person.
